The city has lost the swimming pool at Port Neches Park due to extensive damage from Hurricane Rita.  It has been proposed to replace it with a “state of the art” 4,500 square foot splash park for Port Neches residents and surrounding communities.  Anticipated completion date will be summer of 2008.

The proposal includes 39 water features that are activated with a trigger or button.  Water drains away and is recycled.  There is no standing or pooling water, eliminating the need for lifeguards (parental supervision is still required).  When completed, it will be the largest municipally held of its kind in the state of Texas!

To make this park a reality, we need your help!  The city needs to raise $490,000 for equipment and installation costs.  We are seeking corporate and business sponsors as well as individual donations.
